2020 U.S. Open: Golf equipment spotted at Winged Foot

While the date has been pushed back three months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, make no mistake about it, the U.S. Open is still going to be the toughest tournament the world’s best golfers are going to face in 2020.

Winged Foot Golf Club’s West Course is 7,477 yards long and the fairways are surrounded by thick, deep rough. The A.W. Tillinghast greens are lightning quick and filled with undulations.

There will not be spectators on the grounds during the championship, but the whole world will be watching to see how the players handle the pressure.

Like all craftsmen, the players are going to depend on experience and their tools. Here is a look at some of the gear Golfweek spotted in the practice areas at Winged Foot.
