Rams QB Jared Goff plays golf left-handed, has cool backyard practice area

Did you know NFL quarterback Jared Goff plays golf left-handed?

That and other scintillating details are revealed in the second episode of Hard Knocks: Los Angeles, coming to HBO Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET.

In a promo clip released by the network, Goff, who throws right-handed for the Los Angeles Rams, shows off his backyard practice area, which is actually an elevated tee box where he and girlfriend Christen Harper chip down to a green.

That’s kinda cool.

“I going to get calls from the neighbors ‘Oh, now we know why all these golf balls are in our back yard,” Goff jokes in the video.

Hard Knocks: Los Angeles, narrated by Liev Schreiber, takes a closer look at both the Rams and the Chargers during training camp leading up to the 2020 NFL season.

Goff, 25, explains his decision to put in the golf green instead of a basketball court.

“I had this land down here that was unused and I was going to do like a basketball court but that was like, more … there’s risk of injury with that,” he said. “And I just didn’t see myself going down there to play basketball. I thought, what can I do that kind of ties in the whole house together. I think it works.”
