Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are playing together in the final round of the Zozo Championship on Sunday at Sherwood Country Club north of Los Angeles.
As Justin Ray of the 15th Club points out, it’s the 38th time the two golf superstars have been grouped
Mickelson its now tied with Ernie Els for the most rounds played with the Big Cat all-time.
Neither is a threat to win the Zozo. Woods, the tournament’s defending champion, and Mickeslon each started the day T-68 out of the 77 golfers in the field.
The day starting under overcast skies and there was a light rain falling when they started their round at 11:28 a.m. local time. Oh, and Adam Long is the third member of the threesome.
