The 2020 USGA season has officially begun with the U.S. Women’s Amateur at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland. A field of 132 players, assembled by a series of exemption categories when the USGA wiped out local qualifying due to the COVID pandemic, will compete over the course of seven days for the chance to hoist the Robert Cox trophy. It’s one of the most beautiful in golf.
The field is made up of many of the top-ranked players in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, plus past USGA winners and contenders.
